overview
On September 1st the most powerful storm to ever hit the Bahamas, Hurricane Dorian, made landfall, causing severe flooding, damaging or destroying 13,000 homes, leaving thousands of families with no shelter and limited access to food and water. Scouts from all over the country reacted as first responders to aid the emergency relief efforts conducted. Despite aid received from some international organizations, the efforts are not sufficient, more help is needed.

risk
Without immediate support, the Grand Bahama and greater Abaco area will remain virtually uninhabitable, with no water, power or food, and delay the efforts to re-build the lives of thousands affected people.
